By creating an account on Basis you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Basis is a portfolio tracking and intelligence tool focused on the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) and Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange (TTSE). We provide price data, dividend tracking, AI briefs, chat, and filing summaries.

Basis is an information tool, not a licensed investment adviser, broker, or dealer.

Everything you see in the app — including AI-generated briefs, chat responses, projections, filing summaries, and intelligence cards — is for informational purposes only. It is not a recommendation to buy or sell any security. AI output can be wrong; verify before acting. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions.

• Keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Provide accurate information. We can suspend accounts using fraudulent details.
• One person per account. Do not share logins.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, or republish Basis data or AI output for resale.
• Reverse-engineer, attack, or attempt to overwhelm the service.
• Use Basis to spam other users or send unsolicited communications.
• Upload PDFs, CSVs, or text that you do not have the right to share.

We source pricing from Stacks Markets and filings from JSE/TTSE. Data can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. We make best efforts to correct issues quickly but make no warranty of accuracy.

Free tier limits and paid tier features are shown in-app. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from Settings — your access continues until the end of the paid period.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Basis and its operators are not liable for any investment losses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You can close your account at any time via support@basis.expert.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Kingston, Jamaica.
